The Build-Up

Good news! After the Tear-Down, the Build-Up is going to seem amazingly easy.

Select a statement: Select a belief that you would like to have, like, "I love myself", or "I deserve to be thin", or "I am a top-notch salesman".

Gauge: Evaluate your current gut response to the belief.

Tap: While repeating the desired belief statement to yourself, tap the bone around the top and back of your ear with all your fingers. The palm of your hand should be facing the ear itself. Tap for a few seconds.

Re-Gauge: Stop tapping, and evaluate your gut response to the belief. Repeat tapping as needed, until your gut response is as high as it could possibly be.

That's it. Really. Honest. From the time that the belief occurs to you, it'll probably take you 20 seconds to install it. Wild, huh?

Since this happens so easily, you may as well install a lot of positive beliefs, to make sure that you're achieving what you want. For example, instead of just "I deserve to be thin", also do "I am a thin person", "I want to be thin", "I demand to be thin", "I am prepared to be thin", and whatever else occurs to you. Don't let me stop you. Don't let anybody stop you.

Here's a few frames that I've come up with:

  • I ______.
  • I like to ______.
  • I deserve to ______.
  • I expect to ______.
  • I instinctively ______.
  • I involuntarily ______.
  • I can't help but ______.
  • I am prepared to ______.
  • I long to ______.
  • I choose to ______.
  • It's easy to ______.
  • I love to ______.
  • I demand to ______.
  • I crave ______.
  • I naturally ______. / It's natural for me to ______.

Now, I'm not saying that you have to do all of these every time. But, with some experimenting, you can select a few of these that are very powerful for you. For example, I used to always do "I expect to X" and "I choose to X", until I discovered that "I demand to X" took care of both of those others for me.

How did I know that? Simple. I gauged "I expect to X", then tapped on "I demand to X", until it was maxed. When I re-gauged "I expect to X", it was maxed, too, even though I hadn't tapped on it at all.

You can experiment like that, too. Find a few frames that are especially powerful for you, and you'll be motivating yourself like crazy.

It's almost too easy, isn't it?
